ETIAS TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION for Europe
ETIAS for Brazilian citizens
Travel to Europe Hustle-Free with ETIAS Travel Authorization
What is ETIAS Travel Authorization?
What is ETIAS Travel Authorization?
ETIAS stands for European Travel Information and Authorization System. This is new and innovative approach that will increase the EU’s capabilities to detect and curb external threats, like: Illegal Migration, Organized Crime, Terrorism and Epidemiological Risks before they reach the Union’s external borders.
After submitting the ETIAS application form, the authorities will background-check your provided information, including your purpose of visit, and grant you the authorization accordingly. This means that by the time you get to the EU border, you will no longer need to wait in line for hours to clear customs. Instead, you can use Smart Gates to go through passport control, reducing the border checking time by 40%.
Please note that ETIAS Travel Authorization doesn’t serve as a Schengen Visa. It only enables you to stay in the EU/Schengen Area for 90 days, meaning that the purpose of your trip should be short-term business or leisure.

How Does ETIAS Work?
How does ETIAS Travel Authorization work?
You can obtain your ETIAS visa waiver in two simple steps. You must fill out the ETIAS application and submit it alongside your Biometric Passport after paying the application fee. This means that all you need to secure your entry to Europe includes:
- Filled Out Application Form
- Valid Biometric Passport
- Confirmation of Application Fee Payment
Once the system successfully verifies your application form, you will get your ETIAS visa waiver, which will be electronically connected to the embedded chip of your Biometric Passport.
ETIAS travel authorization will be valid for three years and will enable you to visit Europe for short-term leisure or business purposes for up to 90 days.
Do I Need ETIAS to Visit Europe?
From November 2025, citizens of those 58 countries worldwide that are enjoying visa-free travel with the European Union/Schengen Area will need to apply for ETIAS travel authorization. For anyone else obtaining a traditional Schengen visa is a must.
